Pastel Palette

You can never go wrong with a neutral base. That was my starting point with today's look, a simple nude dress. I accessorized with pastels and ended up with a cute look. There is no need to overcomplicate things. Sometimes, the easiest look to put together is a simple, uncomplicated one. Seeing as I wore this on a Tuesday following a long weekend, I think I did pretty well!

TBT - Make Some Bloom

This dress screams springtime to me. The bright-coloured spots on the mint background is fresh and reminds me of a bouquet of flowers. This little number would be perfect for any Easter celebration or a picnic in the park. The accessorizing possibilities are endless seeing as there are so many different colours to choose from. You can emphasize the pink, or the yellow, or both! The ruffle details just add the special touch of uniqueness without going over the top. A fun, versatile print with a perfect feminine touch make this dress a definite keeper, and repeater!

Pyjama Party

This is my I-don't-feel-like-getting-dressed look. I have to go to work, but I can't wear my pjs... or can I? Yes, I can get away with wearing a pyjama-comfort level outfit without it being actual pjs. Soft pants are total heroes in this specific line of dressing. They are constructed and loose-fitting like pjs, but in more office-appropriate materials and patterns. I added a slouchy t-shirt to the mix, but picked a metallic one to distract a bit from the plainness factor and added a couple touches of gold with the jewelry and shoes. Flats are basically outdoor slippers, so that was a no-brainer add-on. So there you have it, a perfectly acceptable pyjama-inspired look for the office!
