Look Hues Falling

Apparently this bizarre weather pattern is coming to an end soon. Learning that nugget of information has breathed new life into me and I am back to creating fall-inspired looks to get me through the next couple days. Today's top is the most gorgeous orchid lace design by Banana Republic. It is like the embodiment of fall. The colour palette, the texture, the layering potential; this top hits all the right autumnal notes. It also comes in a blue colourway, but I was sold on the "Autumn Rust" colour. How could I not with a name like that? I'm happy it's sleeveless because it's great for layering, but in this instance, it was also convenient to wear on its own in the heat. I wanted the top to be the centerpiece, so I kept the rest of the look very basic with black skinny pants and t-strap heels. The countdown to cool is totally underway!
