Christmas Couture

When one has a fabulous event to attend, out comes the little red dress for a second round this holiday season! A super talented designer friend of mine was launching his holiday collection and, being the fashion lover that I am, I simply had to check it out! The new line did not disappoint! It featured clean lines, classic silhouettes and a slew of festive textures such as velvet, brocade and lace. There were cute embellishment LBDs, a silk jewel tone colourblock dress and, of course, a little red dress too! There was definitely a lot to feast the eyes upon and my fashion senses were definitely tingling. He even had some of his amazing haute couture dresses on display and it was magical. A fancy night out is always welcome and it's an added bonus when you get to support local talent. This type of event is right up my alley (or runway?) Here's to hoping there will be many more such launches in the future.
