My Fair Layer

Still not feeling my best, but definitely getting better. The cold front has definitely arrived, so combined with the extra shivers from the fever, I am all about the comfy layers today. I did a little festive print mixing by pairing a black Fair Isle sweater with a red plaid shirt. I added shimmer jeans for the festive factor and donned the ever flattering black winter boots. Our winters are serious in Canada, so you need an actual pair of good, warm and heavy-duty winter boots. Some days, I can get away with booties, but those are rare. Add a heavy wool coat and bundle up with a scarf. I don't just like the idea of a blanket scarf. I have many because they are super warm and just what a Canadian girl needs to brave the cold. Not pictured: the earmuffs and mitts. We are for sure having a white Christmas this year!
