TBT - Sugar-Plum Pink

I apologize for the lack of red today, but I'm running low on throwback pictures, so I'll stick at least to festive looks. This blush pink outfit has me thinking all things sugar-plum fairy and ballet! I absolutely love ballet and dance is near and dear to my heart. So, naturally, anything blush pink or involving tulle immediately makes me think: ballerina! Understandably, I had no option but to buy this dress. The fact it was on sale just sweetened the deal! I love a good fit-and-flare style, so this dress checked all the boxes for me. It is also a great addition to any closet as it can easily be dressed up or down. If I recall correctly, I wore this look for a cozy Valentine's Day. By adding a boyfriend cardigan and printed tights, I made the dress feel more casual. Also, sticking to the monochrome palette helped streamline the look. The rose gold belt, the sheen of the dress and the sequin detailing of the sweater all contributed to elevate the look slightly, dressing it up just enough without overdoing it.

I've linked similar blush options in the widget below. It's never too early to start shopping for Valentine's Day...
