Grey-OK!

Mondays were made for monochromatic looks. They are the no-brainer of styling and make Mondays a little more bearable. I even opted for full-on comfort today with leggings, a flannel shirt and a knit cardigan. I realize this is maybe more of a weekend look, but figured it would do for a dreary winter's day. By sticking to a monochrome palette, it gives the outfit more uniformity, hence more put together. Also, the oversized lapel and the leather detailing of the sweater help elevate the look. Add simple stud earrings and pendant for a hint of shine. Bold eyeliner and a pink pout also make you look more put-together. I don't dress down often, but today, it took all of my will power to get out of bed, so getting dressed was a small victory in itself!
