Checkmate, Winter!

Another day, another plaid skirt! This one is amazing because it's super thick and keeps me nice and warm on cold winter days. I also like how it's colourful, meaning I can wear it in a cheery way. I opted for pastels today with the lace yoke blouse and blush sweater. This sweater is also very warm and the length makes it a great layer under a winter coat. I also wore my baby blue headband and like how it adds a hint of freshness to the look. Spring is around the corner, so I'm yearning to wear lighter colours, but I still have to manage to be appropriately dressed for the winter weather. This is what it gives! I could easily layer down this look for spring by nixing the tights, opting for ankle booties and a lighter cardigan. I like a good seasonably adaptable look!
