Pleated Plaid

Seeing as it's still really cold here, I decided I'd take advantage of it and wear the vintage skirt my mom gave me recently. I know it's more of a fall/Christmas colour palette, but I didn't want to wait that long to wear it, so here we are! I paired it with my really old off-the-shoulder ivory sweater and I added bold burgundy accessories to give this retro look a bit of edge. The big belt just makes the outfit! I bravely wore my little booties on the ice today because my big boots just wouldn't look as cute. I opted for fashion over function and lived to tell the tale, so there were no ice casualties! I loved this look so much I just might repeat it in a few months' time! ;)
