Forever Green

A little summer and a little fall for today's look! I've been waiting for fall to wear this perfect polka dot evergreen dress that I snagged in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It's a Madewell, which is one of my favourite brands. I love the preppy and timeless style of their clothing. This dress is perfect in its simplicity. No fuss, just a great silhouette, a light fabric and a timeless print. I paired it with leopard-print sandals (a super trendy this fall), a light beige cardigan, a white straw bag and lots of pearls! A simple way of styling a transitional look is to combine elements of both seasons in your accessorizing. It's a great way of dipping your toes in without switching from summer to fall cold-turkey! Straw and leopard totally work together!
