Back to School!

Here is my official back-to-school look! Although I don't actually go back to school every fall, I do enjoy partaking in the excitement of it all by putting together my preppiest of looks. Working in the academic world, I'm never too far off from getting swept up in the excitement of the start of a new term. This year, I chose a perfectly fall palette of burgundy, cognac and mustard. I accessorized with hints of leopard, which is a very trendy print this fall, and piled on as many textures as I could. I am absolutely loving my super preppy look! I find itcombines both my Hermione Granger (and the Gryffindor colour palette) and Blair Waldorf sides. Although those two characters couldn't be more different from on another, I like my little bookworm-meets-trendsetter mash-up! I decided to take pictures on campus and in the library stacks to really convey that preppy school setting. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoyed putting it together!
