Fall Prep

Finally, I get to bust out the fall-wardrobe MVP: the trench coat! I don't think I've ever loved and worn a style of coat so much. If you were only to have one coat, this would be it! It's the corner-stone of the preppy wardrobe and is perfect in every way. It was cooler this morning and the forecast was calling for rain later in the day, so there really was no better option than this coat. I kept my look very basic: dark wash jeans, a white blouse, some taupe brogues and a fall-palette bandana scarf. As simple and as preppy as it gets for a casual, early-autumn day.
