Short & Zesty
Trying a new to me silhouette: the paperbag shorts! I was always a little iffy about this cut of shorts as I wasn't sure they would suit my wider hips. Turns out, they are perfect! I took the leap on the style when I saw them in lemon print at H&M... I'm a sucker for this print and happy I discovered a new style of shorts along the way! I paired them with a white flutter-sleeve top and swapped out the sash belt for a raffia buckle one instead. However, I didn't dismiss the sash completely by opting to wear it in my hair by including it my my braided updo. I must admit, this hair style is totally giving me Frida Kahlo vibes and I'm not mad about it! I added oversized sunnies and gold hoop earrings to my look for even more summertime glam. Then, I finished off the outfit with yellow espadrille sandals, to match the lemons of course!
