The best trick to ease into dressing for the holidays is to simply add a dash of red to your outfit. Stick to a look composed of classic, basic, tried and true pieces and add a swipe of red lipstick. You can stop there or take things one step further by opting for a tartan accessory that also has a hint of red. For today's outfit I wore a black turtleneck, black tights and black over-the-knee boots with a bouclé skirt and cognac coat. I accessorized with a knit headband and classic tartan scarf. This exact look can easily take you from fall to winter by simply switching out the accessories or pop of colour. I'm really loving the subtle festive vibe!
