Navy and cognac are great, but today's look features the old faithful black and cognac combination. I absolutely love how this outfit is comprised of classic wardrobe staples and feels modern yet so timeless. To me, it's a quintessential autumnal outfit that can easily still be worn years from now. The base look is a black turtleneck with my black and gold-button sailor pants. I kept the gold details going with the pendant necklace, bracelet and earrings. For the outer look, I opted for my cognac cape, booties and black beret for the added flair. I just felt so classy and seasonally appropriate today. It was a winning look in my book!
