Tartan Capering

Letting Mother Nature be my inspiration today as I style a gold and purple look with a fall-coloured plaid cape! Give me all the warm tones and jewel hues! I just love wearing purple (it's my favourite colour), but I find the deeper shades wear best in the fall and winter. I'm so happy to be pulling out my purple items once more. I also love pairing purples with metallics, and this gold skirt is perfect for this time of year! I sprinkled in a bit of gold jewelry and opted for plum velvet pumps because I felt the skirt needed a fancy shoe. To finish the look, I draped myself in my best fall plaid cape and called it a day!
