Tasting Tour

Last weekend, my husband took me out on a date and booked us on a tasting tour! It's a local company that takes you to four different restaurants to enjoy four different dishes, all with wine pairings. It's a great concept and was really a fun way to discover local restaurants while meeting new people. The company is called Ottawa Tasting Tours and they collaborate with Grapes and Grains to match us up with a guide. We had a great time hoping around from place to place, eating and drinking our way through the Byward Market! We even ended the evening by sabering a bottle of champagne: you can't get a better night cap than that!
