Have I mentioned how much I love layering season? No? Well, let me say it once more: I love layering season! Truth be told, I'm still a bit soon as we've been having unusually great weather these past few days, but I'm just going with it. I decided to update one of my favourite dresses from last summer with a turtleneck and knitted cardicoat. Then, I added cognac accessories and a felt fedora for the perfect fall look. I just can't get over how different certain pieces look when layered. It's like finding an entirely new piece in your wardrobe! Also, how great is this evergreen cardicoat? It's a very old piece that I've hung onto for at least a decade. If my memory serves me well, it's from a 2010 (or older) Old Navy collection. I happen to love it as much now as I did back when I got it. It just goes to show that buying pieces you love will stick with you for a long time.
