Today's look is as classically Christmas as it gets! I took out my most favourite tartan midi skirt and paired it with a satin camisole and red cardigan. Simple outfit formula in a festive colour palette. I accessorized with a matching pearl headband and red bow accessories. I am loving the simplicity of the overall outfit, yet the festive spirit really comes through. To me this is as timeless as it gets. I can totally picture a 50s housewife wearing this to host or a librarian wearing it for story time with kids. I'd even say this would work for attending a kid's school Christmas play or even a holiday tea with girlfriends. It would work for any number of daytime festive activities. I have found a midi tartan skirt to be a closet staple that can easily be styled by simply wearing solid pieces in matching colours. If you only invest in one seasonal garment, a tartan skirt is a great option! Depending on the colour palette, it can easily be worn throughout the year. It's a timeless print that is often associated with the holidays, so will always be in style.
