Today was a very festive day. Not only did we have tickets for a Christmas concert, but it also happened to be my work Christmas lunch. If there was a day do dress for the season, it was today! I decided to wear my fanciest Nap Dress and paired it with a classy black turtleneck, tights and boots. I opted for simple gold ear-cuff earrings and chose my sparkly black headband, à la Princess of Wales. Today was also the day I decided to bust out the new gingerbread purse for its first outing. What better than a night out at the theatre for this most seasonal of handbags? I mean, this bag needed a special occasion and this was my chance, ha ha! I've lusted over this bag for a year and finally decided to treat myself. It's the most perfect festive purse. I can't. It's so cute, I'm tempted to leave it on display throughout the entire holiday season! This is one of those pieces that I'm going to keep forever and hopefully pass it down at some point. I fully embrace the gingerbread aesthetic.
