Summer Uniform

Well, we've hit the point in the year when I switch from my cold-weather Nap Dress uniform to the warm-weather version. In the winter, I love layering turtlenecks and chunky knits with my Nap Dresses, but once summer comes along I swap them for light cardigans and jean jackets. It's such a seamless and easy transition to accomplish because the base piece is the same. You basically just swap out the accessories. It's comfortable and familiar, offering a certain stability when the weather can be unpredictable.

When I bought my first Nap Dress, it never occurred to me just how versatile they would end up being for me. I knew they offered a certain versatility, but I'm amazed by the levels of versatility I've been able to reach with one simple piece of clothing. Finding clothing that works for you is an effective way to streamline your style and your life to a certain extent, taking the guess work out of getting dressed. I realize these dresses are investment pieces at this point and my cost-per-wear on them is justified.
