I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving weekend! I love the sheer comfort and coziness of this holiday. It's peak fall goodness and right when the colours are at their boldest! It's a time for family, good food and hopefully some cozy moments spent outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature. My husband and I cooked up our turkey, as tradition dictates, and made all the usual side dishes of mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and an array of roasted vegetables. We like to cook up enough food to then make ready-to-go freezer meals. Nothing beats taking a portion of turkey dinner straight from the freezer on a busy winter weeknight. I also tend to bake a seasonal desert, usually something pumpkin flavoured! No matter your family traditions, I hope everyone enjoyed a good meal and took some time to rest this weekend.
