Things are really starting to look and feel like spring now. We had a grey and rainy time of it in April, so the sunshine is a nice change of pace. I styled my powder blue satin skirt very casually today with my pastel striped top, a white denim jacket and my new light yellow Mary-Jane flat espadrilles. These shoes are slightly giving clown shoes, but they are the most comfortable things! I'm partial to espadrilles in the summer and think these will be a great option for more casual looks. Think with a breezy summer dress and straw hat. Gah, I can't wait! But for now, I'm loving the lighter layers and colours I get to wear once more. I find I can get away with a wider array of colours in an outfit when they are pastel shades - it's less jarring! Still statement-worthy, though.
