Can't stop, won't stop wearing blue, especially powder blue. I've literally been living in my blue trench this spring and won't apologize for it. It's just such a great coat! I'm slightly amazed by how well it pairs with a variety of outfits. It's definitely more versatile than I could have imagined. For a quasi-impulse purchase, this coat has already become the MVP of my spring wardrobe. I've worn it so much I don't think I've even looked at the other trenches hanging in my closet... Not to worry, I'll eventually reach for them again. They are timeless, so they can be benched for one season. Today's rainy day look is simple but jazzed up with accessories. My polka dot skirt is paired with a simple navy t-shirt and powder blue trench. I then added stud earrings, a navy belt, a pearl headband and a jaunty scarf. I finished off with these navy rubber flats. I've had these for close to 20 years (imagine!) and recently pulled them out again because it's been a wet spring. I love that they are less chunky and warm than full rubber boots, making them a perfect option for spring as the temperatures rise.
