You, Me, Party!

We are back with an outfit post today, taking a closer look at what I wore for my Bachelorette bash. I was instructed to wear white and, the night before, my sister actually told me to wear a fascinator. She said that because she thought I still had my extensive collection of them. Sadly, they were all ruined in the fire... I intend on rebuilding my collection, but it will take time. Seeing as I didn't have time to source one out, I told her I'd wear some kind of head accessory, so that's where the velvet headband came in. I also didn't have any white dresses appropriate for this time of year because they are all summer dresses and it's hard to shop for an event when you have no clue what to expect. I ended up wearing my pleated white midi skirt and opted for a black and white look. I layered a white shirt underneath a black graphic sweater with the words "You, Me, Oui" on it. I like how the saying is subtly nuptial! I'm such a word girl! I also decided to jazz things up with glitter tights, stiletto booties and my "bride" clutch. I figured this was as good a time as any to bust it out! I thought my outfit ended up being perfect: not too dressy nor too casual. It was just right for the day!
