Primary Pop

I can't help myself, I just have to wear these bright coats! With the weather warming up every day, my window of opportunity to wear them is closing, so I'm making the most of the last bit of cold weather to try them out. I've always loved outfits based on a primary colour palette, so this coat was so much fun to style. I knew right away that my yellow rubber boots would be a perfect match (not to mention perfect footwear for navigating puddles!) Now that I had a yellow element, I wanted to add red and blue, which was as easy as reaching for one of my many striped tees. I added a red bandana scarf and striped pearl earrings for those extra nautical touches. This look was bright, bold and fun: a perfect springtime get-up to put a pep in my step!
