Plaid Weather

My husband and I took a couple days off to go on a mini getaway to enjoy the fall colours. We headed to Saint-Sauveur, Québec! It's only a couple hours' drive from our place, so we booked a B&B (Auberge sous l'édredon) and were on our way. The scenery and mountain landscape of the Laurention region is breathtaking, especially during the fall, when all the leaves are beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange. I also love quaint little villages and main streets filled with the cutest little shops. We spent the day exploring the boutiques on the main street and going for a bit of a nature walk around the nearby lake. The weather was cloudy, but it was nice enough to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. We had dinner at Lola45 and it was delicious! By the time we left the restaurant, it had started raining. We headed back to the B&B, enjoyed a quick dip in the hot tub and warmed up by our in-room fireplace. I couldn't have asked for a better fall day!
