Happy Halloween, from the De Vils!
Ever since watching the new Cruella movie, I knew this was the year I'd be dressing up as her. Truth be told, I'd been wanting to dress up as Cruella for many years now, but never got around to getting a black and white wig. I knew this specific wig would be easier to find because of the movie, so decided early on to get one. The wig was the only thing I really needed, the rest of the outfit is straight from my closet! I was definitely going for the new age, edgy, fashion-forward Cruella so chose my "I don't need fashion, fashion needs me" graphic t-shirt, added a black blazer, leather leggings, stiletto booties and a black choker. I then remembered I had this black lace mask that is very similar to the one she wears to the black and white ball in the movie, so I added that too.
My husband decided to play off my costume and go as Cadillac De Vil, ha! He's always been a car enthusiast, and enjoyed seeing the vintage cars in the movie, so he decided to build a character based on that. He's wearing a Cadillac t-shirt and then he got the brilliant idea of dying half his hair and beard white to mimic Cruella's signature style. Now I got a preview of what I'll be living with in my golden years. I have to say, not bad at all!
