Dress Up Trick
An easy way to dress up a cotton summer dress is with metallic accessories. Keep things simple with neutral gold or silver. I opted for silver with my blue print dress and love the simplicity of the final look. The print of the dress is statement-worthy enough on its own, so the silver sandals and glittery earrings add without stealing the spotlight. I decided on doing a little print mixing with the cobalt gingham clutch because I like to have a little fun with my outfits. The zipper pull is also silver, which makes it very cohesive. I put my hair up in a braid crown, but a simple claw clip updo would also do the trick for a summer day out.
