Casual Statement

 

Casual Friday (especially if it's a rainy day) calls for a jean look. Seeing as the sun was hiding today, the temperature was a bit cooler than one would expect in July, so jeans and sleeves were required. I chose simple skinny blue jeans and an ivory lace-sleeve top. The lace elements dress up an otherwise understated top, but not to the point of making it formal. I wanted to jazz up the basics with fun accessories. In come the tassel earrings and stud flats! just because a look is casual, it doesn't have to be boring!
