Vintage Vacay

I'm all about being body confident. For as long as I can remember (and for as long as my mom has been telling me), I've always had hips. What can I say, I was born with curves? If you're born with it, own it! I have days when I feel less than amazing in my skin, but that happens to the best of us, it's only human. This past year, I have been through the most traumatic event of my life and I'd be lying if I didn't feel the stress physically as well as emotionally. My body is not in the same place it was before this ordeal, but this is the very body that got me through it! This is the only body I am given, and I am amazed and thankful for what it managed to do in the past year. We often underestimate what our bodies are capable of. I will give it time to resettle and will focus on my wellbeing, now that things are almost back to normal. Even though I have a never-ending to-do list, I made a conscious decision to enjoy the summer. So today, I decided to don the black cut-out swimsuit and flaunt those curves, not matter what people think! I even added a little retro flair just for fun!
