Lovely Lavender

If you are going to wear jeans in the summer, pastel hues are always a good choice. I decided to wear my lavender jeans with a black flutter-sleeve top and turquoise accessories. I wasn't too sure about the colour combination at first glance, but I ultimately love it! Today's look is basically a bold colour block and I think the black anchors the two bolder colours. My top and sandals are older pieces that I still hang onto because I love them so much. A basic black top is always a must-have, but the flutter detail on this one adds just enough interest to make it stand out more than its basic counterparts. As for the turquoise sandals, well, isn't that one obvious? I simply cannot live without that colour, so these strappy sandals have been part of my wardrobe for a while and will continue to be until further notice. They always add just the right colour pop to any outfit!
