Sea ya Later

So this cold I've been dealing with is sort of lingering and I get these random coughing fits (at the worst times, like in the bus) and finally decided to go see my doctor today. I'm usually the person who'll toughen out a cold and avoid any kind of medication because I rather let nature take its course. But this time, I just can't seem to shake it and when your colleagues start checking up on you to see if you're ok, it's time to seek medical help. Here's to hoping the medication works and I start feeling like myself again.

It was quite chilly this morning, so I decided to layer. I feel it's still early to bust out the fall jackets and figured a cardigan and denim jacket would be enough to get me through the day. I also figured this was probably the last chance I will get away with wearing seahorses, so here's to one last hurrah until next summer! I like the idea of pairing my seahorse skirt with a cardigan, not the way I envisioned I'd ever be styling it! This transition look definitely leans more towards the summer side, but it is a transition look nonetheless because of the layers and fabrics. Oh, and I am totally hanging on to bare legs for as long as I can physically stand it!
