I'm wearing all my pastels while I still can. This light yellow gingham dress is simply precious and totally comfortable. I paired it with red flats and a light wash denim jacket for a casual look. I love how adding a jean jacket to a dress instantly dresses it down, but still looks put together. I added a little brooch to my jacket today. It's a big safety pin with little sewing-inspired baubles. It was my mom's (an avid sewer) and wearing it makes me think of her! My mom is now retired and slowly purging her closet. I'm not complaining about that process! Brooches are so fun and really give that certain je ne sais quoi to an outfit. It's a great way to personalize your looks!
