Velvet for the Holidays

After showing you a pink and teal look the other day, I decided to go for the red and green one today! I still opted for a velvet piece, the burgundy t-shirt in this case, and paired it with an evergreen cardigan. I added some festive plaid print with the pants, but stuck to a neutral colour for that one. See, even a grey plaid print can be festive when paired with a Christmas colour palette! I finished things off with my burgundy OTK boots and rose gold jewelry. This is festive work-appropriate look. You have the colours, the textures and the prints all while remaining conservative. See, velvet can work for the office too, you just have to be a bit strategic about it! A velvet cami would also work well with a blazer as long as it's not too low-cut.
