Cable Knit and Flannel

It just wouldn't be the Christmas season without a ton of cable-knit sweaters and flannel plaid shirts, now would it? This is a band-wagon I am more than glad to hope onto! Layered shirts and sweaters is my favourite styling trick this time of year and I can't help myself but to layer cable-knits sweaters and flannel shirts. It's a must, you can't go through the holidays without wearing a similar combination. I added a statement necklace for a hint of bling and kept the bottom half all black to balance things out. Bonus points if your outdoor look matches perfectly! I'm wearing my red pea coat and a scarf in the exact same plaid as my shirt. I really couldn't match any more! A bright red coat is such a cheerful piece to have in one's closet for the dark, winter days.
