Flowers & 'flakes

Leave it to me to wear a cute floral scarf during a big winter snowstorm... I've been craving more colour in my outfits ever since we got back from vacation, so I had planned on wearing this bright purple sweater with my sailor pants. Then, I thought the floral bandana scarf would be a nice addition and give me a much-needed hint of spring. Turns out, there was a huge snowstorm brewing the next morning and I was too preoccupied to style a different outfit, so floral scarf outfit it was! Rest assured, I wore a more substantial blanket scarf to face the outdoor flurries. I also ended up wrapping myself in the very same blanket scarf to keep the chills at bay in the office, seeing as my sweater was on the thinner side. Even thought the concept of my look was not weather appropriate, the bright colour and floral print cheered me up!
