I See Blue

Now that the rain has come and cut down the humidity, it's not nearly as warm. That means, I have to layer a bit to be comfortable in my light summer dresses. This long-sleeve lace top is one of my favourite layering pieces as it's lightweight, delicate and neutral. The lace adds a nice, feminine touch to my outfits without weighing them down too much nor taking attention away from the dress. I wear this top all year round as it's just that versatile of a piece! I stuck to a palette of white and blue for my outfit today and like the breath of freshness it brings. Bow details, lace-up espadrilles and scarf scrunchie all add interest and whimsy to the final outfit. I like this type of look for summer: simple and without too much fluff.
