Repeating this new favourite colour combination of ivory and rust/copper. I wore my clip dot peasant dress with my new copper cardigan. I'd been looking for a long cardigan in this shade for a few years now and was happy to snag one during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. A copper topper is the ideal layer for all your fall dressing needs. It's such a perfect item to add to otherwise summery dresses to transition them into the early days of autumn. I also added in my cognac booties and matching felt panama to complete the look. I had the intention of actually wearing the hat, but momentarily forgot that when braiding my hair that morning, so I just featured it in the look by holding it instead. I could have unpinned the braids to wear the hat, but I was liking my braided crown, so left it as is! Best laid plans and all that...
