A fun colour combo for fall is ivory and brown. It's a bit unexpected, but a perfect transitional colour palette. The dark brown is not quite as harsh as black, but still offers that strong contrast. I paired my ivory eyelet trim dress with a brown waist belt, a brown velvet hair bow and brown flats. Then, I topped off the look with a houndstooth blazer for more structure. This was such a great business casual look and felt very fall without overdoing it. Not big on cognac, reds and golds for fall? Just try swapping out a few black accessories for brown ones to dip your toes in.
