With the Barbie movie coming out tomorrow, I'm leaning into that Barbie colour palette hard lately. What better opportunity to wear all of my Barbie-pink items? Somewhere between fuchsia and bubble-gum, this is such a fun shade of pink! I can totally see the appeal of Barbie-core and will ride the wave while it lasts, ha ha! I put together a very Mimi-meets-Barbie outfit with my beige basketweave Nap Dress and all the pink accessories. I even traded in my usual red lip for a popping pink hue. I'm totally getting those "life in plastic is fantastic" vibes, while keeping things very real and true to my personal aesthetic. Anybody else into Barbie-core lately? Will you go see the movie?
