Opting for a pastel colour palette with today's look, inspired by summer's token melon - the watermelon! Clearly, the purse was the jumping off point for this outfit. While I could have gone with bold colours, I settled for the muted shades of mint and blush. I started with a beige dress, added a blush cardigan and mint sandals. I then decided to finish things off with my statement straw hat with blush bow. This is definitely one of my more formal straw hats, but it's probably my all-time favourite! It's big, bold and front-and-centre; everything a hat should be. I don't shy away from a statement topper, so this one is right at home in my collection.
