Reaching for purple, my comfort colour. Purple has always been my favourite colour and I really love wearing all shades of it. I decided on my deep plum sweater today. While it's January, and technically winter, we still don't have snow. Honestly, it feels more like late autumn outside. I'm not loving a snowless January so far. It's just so odd and does not feel like winter. Dressing after the holidays is challenging enough without the seasons being ambiguous... I did my best and chose to pair my purple sweater with a bouclé mini skirt, black tights and boots, and a green coat. Without even trying to, I fell into pairing green and purple, which is a colour combo I wore often in the last year. I guess I'm still drawn to this particular combo and still like it. Why change when a go-to style works, especially when you don't even have to think about it? Leaning into that right now and finding comfort in the predictable.
