Spring is almost here and that means that gingham season is upon us! I cheated a bit because I got to wear some gingham during my sunny vacation, but the real season begins now. I figured my lilac dress was a perfect place to start. I paired it with an ivory ruffled sweater, pearl earrings and a matching lilac hair bow. I finished off with some ivory booties and sheer tights. It's not quite warm enough to forgo tights yet, but I suspect it won't be too long now. We are also entering the cool mornings/warm afternoons time of year, so layering is still a smart strategy to adopt. I'm ready to switch to a pastel and light-coloured palette now.
