Satin, sandals and stripes - all in shades of blue! I had a busy day of meetings today so wanted something professional while keeping a springtime feel. I opted for an all-blue outfit but mixed my shades for contrast. I also mixed the fabrics and find that a great way to add subtle interest. I paired a light blue striped t-shirt to my matching satin skirt and love the high-low combination. I then added the oversized navy blazer for some structure and a dose of seriousness. I finished with simple navy block sandals and a hair-pin updo. I love the simplicity yet sophistication of styling my hair with a single hair pin, especially on a hot day. Dressing professionally can be attainable without sacrificing personal style - make it your own!
