What's old is new again. I decided I wanted to wear one of the few statement necklaces I still have in my possession. I hung onto a few of them simply because I liked them. Like most fashion cycles, I've spotted a few statement necklace appearances lately. Fellow millennials rejoice, it's our time to shine, ha ha! I mean, even peplum tops are having a moment. Let's dig out some gems from our closets and dust them off for round two. However, while wearing older pieces can be fun, I've also learned today that sometimes, items reach the end of their life cycles too. My coral sandals have quite literally fallen apart on me today. Both heels fell off and the sole was ungluing in multiple places. I've had these for over a decade and have no choice but to part with them. I threw them away at work and went home in my work sneakers... You win some, you lose some!
