Dress Over Denim

I'm taking this trend out for a test run! I've been seeing dresses worn over jeans/pants for a while now and finally decided to test out the trend. I applied my same proportion rules and opted to wear skinny jeans under a short fit and flare dress. I am absolutely loving the final look! Although I admit that not all combinations would work, this particular combination works great. I plan on going to the movies today, and with the AC on full blast during the summer months, I wanted to wear a look that would keep the chills at bay. Add some fun jewelry and white sneakers to complete the look and you are cinema ready! I was going to see Wonder Woman, so I totally thought the dress/jean combo would be perfect to highlight the fact that strong women can wear both dresses and pants! My feminist senses were tingling! Dresses are just basically fancier capes!
