This is the look I wore for my better-half's birthday dinner. I dug out a dress I've had for a few years I sort of rediscovered when sorting through my clothing to put it away in my closet post-fire. I was like, ruffles and off-the-shoulder/cold-shoulder are totally having a moment right now! Done! This is the dress! Why buy a new one when a not-quite-vintage-but-almost-there one feels like new again? Let's just say, hanging on to this one paid off because the trend cycled back. We had booked a cute little B&B for a mini-getaway and enjoyed a wonderful three-course meal. This little gem of a place is a little secluded and only reserves one couple at a time, so you get the entire place to yourself. It was very romantic and the perfect setting to relax and take a much needed escape!
