Easy Like Sunday

On Saturday, I thought for a split second that spring was finally here. It was bright, sunny and the streets were glistening from the melting snow. It was a sight for sore eyes! We woke up to a fresh blanket of snow on Sunday and the fluffy snowflakes were still coming down, only to be replaced with rain as the day progressed. Just like that, my springtime hopes were crushed. I pulled on my pink velvet pants and navy sweater for a cozy day spent indoors (after I'd shoveled and salted the yard!) I traded my winter boots for my unicorn slippers and we spent the day catching up with a dear friend over tea lattes and a puzzle. It was the perfect day of winter cocooning. Might as well enjoy them while we still can!
