We Got This!

Major Rosie the Riveter vibes with today's look. I guess it's appropriate, considering the circumstances. I wasn't aiming for this when I first put together my look, but when came time for accessories, I went all in with the bandana scarf and pearl hoop earrings! Combined with the gingham shirt, it's all business on top, but feminine on the bottom with a fit-and-flare skirt and block heels. I'm really feeling the juxtaposition of the feminine and masculine. I needed a bit more motivation to get up, dressed and ready for work today. So, a swipe of red lipstick was in order to get me in the right frame of mind. I can never get over just how much more confident I feel in red lipstick. Today, it gave me the boost I needed to get going with my day. It might not sound like a big accomplishment, but in these times, I'll take whatever success I can, no matter how small.
