Squeezing by...

Today marks the third complete week of self-isolation. It went by both quickly and slowly. Sometimes, it feels like the new normal while other times it feels surreal. Some days I feel very productive and get things done around the house while other days I have zero motivation and the gloom and doom sets in. These are bizarre times indeed, but I am trying to both make the most of it and also learn from it. By learn, I mean stand back and get perspective. This is the perfect time to look at things in a new lens and we, as the human race, can learn valuable lessons from which we can grow. It's also humbling in a way, to see just how quickly things can change and remind us that we are not all-mighty. As troubling as the current times are, I hope we can focus on the good that will come of it and not just the devastation. When we overcome this, let's be better and do better. We will have a chance that many won't so let's make sure that those who don't make it will not have suffered in vain.
